AIIMS NORCET 7 Recruitment 2024: Apply Now for Nursing Officer Positions

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 7 for 2024. Aspiring candidates can now apply for Nursing Officer positions across various AIIMS institutions. The application process is open, and candidates should review key dates, eligibility criteria, and the selection process to ensure a smooth application experience.

AIIMS NORCET 7 Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024

Online registration for AIIMS NORCET 7 began on August 1, 2024. Candidates have until August 21, 2024, to submit their applications, with the portal closing at 5:00 pm on the final day. Corrections or edits in the registration form can be made from August 22 to August 24, 2024. The status of registration and correction of rejected images or other deficiencies will be available from August 30 to September 2, 2024.

Information about the examination centre city will be provided one week before the exam. Admit cards will be uploaded two days before the examination date.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for AIIMS NORCET 7, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications. They should have a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing Council recognized institute or university. Alternatively, a B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute/university is acceptable. Candidates must also be registered as Nurses & Midwives with State/Indian Nursing Council. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 30 years as of the last date of application form submission.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PWBD: 10 years (max age not exceeding 56 years)
  • PWBD + OBC: 13 years (max age not exceeding 56 years)
  • PWBD + SC/ST: 15 years (max age not exceeding 56 years)
  • Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECO/SSCOs: 5 years (See Annexure-II for details)

Application Fees

The application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs. 3000, while SC/ST/EWS candidates need to pay Rs. 2400. Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying any fee.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages: an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a subsequent examination for those who pass Stage I. The CBT on September 15 will test candidates' knowledge and skills relevant to nursing practices. Successful candidates from Stage I will proceed to Stage II on October 4. Candidates who clear both stages will be selected based on their performance and overall merit list rankings.
