AIIMS Group A Faculty Recruitment: Eligibility

Here we are providing the past wise eligibility criteria for various posts of Group A faculty at AIIMS Nagpur.
For Professor

• A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.
• A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
• Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Additional Professor

• Ten years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.
• A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

For Associate Professor

• Six years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.

For assistant Professor

• Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.

• Professor: Level-14A (168900-220400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA
• Additional Professor: Level- 13A2+ (148200 - 211400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA
• Associate Professor: Level- 13A1+ (138300 - 209200) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA
