AIIMS INI CET July 2026 Open Round Schedule Released; Registration Open Till August 3
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the INI CET July 2026 Open Round Counselling Schedule on its official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Eligible candidates seeking admission to postgraduate medical courses can now complete the online registration and choice filling process until August 3, 2026, 5:00 PM.
The open round is being conducted for admission to MD, MS, DM, MCh, MDS, and MD (Hospital Administration) programmes offered by AIIMS and other participating Institutes of National Importance (INIs). Seat allocation will be based on the candidate's INI CET 2026 rank, choices filled during counselling, seat availability, and the applicable reservation policy.
AIIMS INI CET July 2026 Open Round Schedule
AIIMS has announced the following important dates for the open round counselling process:

Candidates are advised to complete all counselling activities within the prescribed schedule to avoid cancellation of their candidature.
Security Deposit Guidelines
Candidates participating in the AIIMS INI CET Open Round must deposit a ₹3 lakh security fee through electronic fund transfer to the designated State Bank of India (SBI) account specified by AIIMS.
After completing the payment, candidates must upload the following details on the counselling portal:
- UTR/Transaction ID
- Proof of successful fund transfer
Failure to deposit the security amount or upload the payment details within the stipulated timeline may result in disqualification from the open round counselling process.
Special Instructions for PwBD Candidates
AIIMS has issued separate instructions for candidates belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category.
Candidates who receive a new seat or are upgraded to a better seat during the open round must report to the Registrar Office, AIIMS New Delhi, on August 22, 2026, at 9:30 AM, along with all original documents, including the original PwBD certificate.
The disability certificate will be verified by the designated Medical Board, and admission will remain subject to successful verification.
How to Participate in AIIMS INI CET Open Round Counselling
Candidates can follow these steps:
1. Visit the official AIIMS examination website.
2. Log in using the INI CET application credentials.
3. Complete the online registration.
4. Fill and lock preferred institute and course choices.
5. Deposit the ₹3 lakh security fee and upload the payment proof.
6. Submit the counselling form before August 3, 2026.
Candidates are advised to carefully select their preferences, regularly check the counselling portal for updates, and complete seat acceptance and reporting formalities within the prescribed schedule.
