AICTE Offering One Lakh Internships To Engineers In Oil And Gas Industry

AICTE has announced one lakh internships in the Oil and Gas Industry to engineering students. The online internship programme has been launched by AICTE and the consortium of six oil and gas companies.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced one lakh internships in the Oil and Gas Industry and invited applications from eligible Engineering students of the second and third year. The online internship programme has been launched by AICTE and the consortium of six oil and gas companies for students and faculties who are interested to join the oil and gas industry.

AICTE Offering One Lakh Internships To Engineers

The six companies that have collaborated with AICTE are Citax Energy (Dubai), Dasoff Petroleum (Abu Dhabi), Petroleumsoft (UK), Energivo Oil And Gas, Wesmarty Infotech, and Shay Innovative Solutions.

According to Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of the AICTE, "The internship programme offered by the council will empower the job aspirants and fine-tune their skills across the country. Through this internship programme, more than one lakh students will be offered internship opportunities by AICTE that will make them ready to join the national and international oil and gas industry."

The oil and gas industry is a dynamic sector and it carries numerous opportunities for engineering aspirants. Through this internship programme, the students will be able to grab job opportunities by gaining knowledge and experience," stated AICTE Vice Chairman Prof MP Poonia.

"This internship will help students to connect directly with the industry professionals in the oil and gas sector," said Prof Rajive Kumar.

According to Dassoffshore Petroleum Services CEO, Mr. Gawai, "The learning content provided in this internship programme will help students to compete successfully in the job market and use their skills effectively."

The candidates who enrolled for this internship programme, provided by the consortium of six oil and gas companies, will gain access to a series of learning content.

The interested students can apply for the internship programme that was announced on 24 March 2021 on the official website before 01 April 2021.
