AICTE, New Delhi offers scholarship to students
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi offers two scholarships schemes to the students.
Pragati Scholarship (girls):
- Around 4,000 scholarships are available.
- The amount of Rs 2,000/- per month for 10 months will be granted to the students.
- This scholarship is applicable to the family having only one girl child.
- Their family income should be less than Rs 6 lakh per annum.
- The candidate must have admitted to the any of the AICTE approved institution for diploma and UG courses.
- Scholarship will be awarded to the student admitted in the first year of the academic year.
Differently abled scholarship:
- Around 1,000 scholarships are available.
- The amount of Rs 2,000/- per month for 10 months will be granted to the students.
- This scholarship is applicable to the students with differently abled.
- Their family income should be less than Rs 6 lakh per annum.
- The candidate must have admitted to the any of the AICTE approved institution for diploma and UG courses.
- Scholarship will be awarded to the student admitted in the first year of the academic year.
How to apply:
Candidates have to download an application from the official website of AICTE.
Last date for the submission of the application form in October 30, 2014.
