The Bar Council of India (BCI), the governing body for the legal profession and legal education in India, has extended the last date for corrections in the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) application form. Initially, the deadline was scheduled for October 12, but it has now been extended up to October 15. This is an essential update for all the aspiring law professionals who are planning to appear for the AIBE 18.

Reason behind the Extension
The BCI announced the extension in the deadline based on requests from numerous aspiring candidates who requested more time to make any necessary corrections in their AIBE application forms. This extension aims to provide an opportunity for candidates to review their application and correct any discrepancies before the final submission.
Removing Errors from the AIBE Application Form
To access and correct errors in their AIBE application form, applicants need to visit the official BCI website and log in into their accounts. Once there, they can access the application form under the application section and make necessary changes. Applicants should note that certain fields like the Name, Father's Name, and Education Details can't be changed. Therefore, it is crucial to review and verify all the information before final submission.
What's Next?
Once the correction window closes on October 15, BCI will make the final preparations for the AIBE exam, which is to be conducted in a pen-paper mode across various centers around the country. In the light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BCI has taken extensive safety measures to ensure all candidates' safety and health during the examination.
