PUC admissions, after SSLC results

The Department of Pre-University, Karnataka has announced the calender of the events for the academic year 2014-15.

According to the calender of events, the PU colleges across the state have to issue the application form for admission to first year PUC, after the SSLC results are out.

The department has also issued a notice to principals of all the government colleges, aided colleges and un-aided colleges, saying that the colleges have to strictly follow the scheduled dates, as mentioned in the calender of events.

All the PU colleges across the state, have to issue the application form within five days of announcement of SSLC results. The filled application should reach the colleges within the three days of issuing the application form.

The academic year classes starts from 30th May 2014 and would be end by 31st March 2015.

The colleges have to mention the admission date in their website or notice board before 13th May 2014.

The colleges have to issue the application form within five days after the SSLC results have been published. Filled applications must be received within three days of issuing the application form.

The first list of PU category and merit list should be published within five days of receiving the filled application forms.

The first list of selected candidates should be published within three days of the announcement of category and merit list.

Candidates who get selected in the first list have to pay their fees, within three days of the announcement of the first list.

Announcement of second list would be done on the fifth day after the announcement of first list.

Candidates who get selected in the second list have to pay their fees, within three days of the announcement of the second list.

Announcement of third list would be done on the fifth day after the announcement of second list.

Final list of admitted candidates, category-wise and combination-wise, would be done within four days of the announcement of third list.

If any of the seats have been left vacant, colleges have to announce the dates for filling the vacant seats, after the announcement of the third list.
