VIT University Announces VITMEE Exam Dates, Apply Online!

Vellore Institute of Technology University, Vellore has announced the entrance exam dates for VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE). VITMEE is held by VIT University for admissions into M.Tech in various programmes and MCA programmes for the academic session 2016. The exams for the same is scheduled to be held on June 4 and June 5, 2016.

Eligibility

For M.Tech programmes: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering/ technology, i.e., B.E/B.Tech from a recognised university or institute.

For MCA programme: Candidates should have a undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) from a recognised university.

• Applications should have a minimum of 60% or equivalent grades in their respective undergraduate degrees.
• Candidates who are in their final year degree can also apply, with a condition on which, they provide their pass certificate on or before August 15, 2016, failing which the admission will be withdrawn.

How to apply for VITMEE 2016

• Candidates can apply online using their email address and mobile number.
• Fill up the application forms.
• Application fee of Rs 950 must be paid online using net banking or any credit/ debit card.

VITMEE 2016 Examination Pattern

• VITMEE is a online or computer based exam.
• Duration of exam is 2 hours
• The total number of questions will be 100 for a total of 100 marks
• No negative marking.
