University of Calcutta offers Ph.D (Marine Science) admissions

University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata has invited applications for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme offered in Marine Science at the Department of Marine Science for the session 2015.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have M.Sc in Marine Science or equivalent
• Candidates who have appeared for the final year exam are eligible to apply

How to Apply

• Candidates should apply in the prescribed proforma by paying application fee Rs 100 in the university cash counter through a challan obtainable from the cash counter at Calcutta University
• SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying fees

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be based upon their performance in the admission test and interview conducted by the institute
• Candidates who have already passed NET / SLET /M.Phil/ Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations are exempted from the Admission Test. However, they have to qualify in the interview
