University of Calcutta offers Ph.D in Sanskrit programme admission

Department of Sanskrit, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, invites applications for admission to Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sanskrit programme, commencing in 2014.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have a passed Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline with 55% of marks from any of the UGC recognised universities.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on written test score and personal interview conducted by the university.

Please Note:
Candidates who already cleared the NET / SET or passed the M. Phil examination, need to appear for interview directly, by skipping the written test.

Important Dates:
Last date for the submission of application form is 25th February 2014.
Written exam will be held on 10th March 2014.
