The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID), Pune will be conducting the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) 2023 exam on January 8, 2023.

SEED 2023 Exam: Details

The SEED 2023 exam registration process has started online at sid.edu.in. The last date to apply for the SEED 2023 exam is November 30, 2022.
Candidates willing to take admission in designing courses can apply for SEED exam are advised to check and apply for the SEED exam 2023 only if they meet the eligibility criteria as set by the Symbiosis Institute of Design.
Candidates with class 12 or diploma in any stream are eligible to apply for the SEED exam 2023.
To apply for the SEED 2023 exam registration, students have to pay an application fee of Rs 1750 in online mode. The SEED entrance exam 2023 will be conducted in an online computer-based mode (CBT) in around 80 cities across India.

SEED 2023 Exam: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent government-approved diploma (10+3) in any stream from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) are eligible to apply for the SEED entrance exam 2023.

SEED 2023: Application fee

The registration fee for SEED exam for all candidates is Rs 1750 and the fee per programme is- Rs 1000.

How to fill the SEED application form 2023?

Candidates are advised to follow the below given steps to apply for SEED 2023 Exam.
1. Go to the official SEED 2023 website - sid.edu.in.
2. Open "Click here" link and you will be redirected to the SEED 2023 registration page. Now, click the "Register" link to fill out the registration form.
3. Next, fill in the required valid information such as personal, contact details, academic, etc.
4. After entering the information, upload all the required documents in the prescribed size and format. Read the format before uploading documents.
5. Pay the SEED application form fee of Rs 1,750 in online mode.
6. Check and submit the SEED Application form. Download and take a printout of the same for future use.

SEED 2023 Exam Pattern

The mode of SEED 2023 Exam will be Computer based (CBT) mode. The test will contain 150 multiple choice questions and the time allotted is 2.5 hours for the same. The questions will be divided in many sections. As per the SEED 2023 marking scheme, 1 mark will be awarded for every correct attempt and there is no negative marking for the incorrect response.

Note: No negative marking in SEED 2023 Exam.

Shortlisting for BDes admission would be based on the overall performance of the candidates in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED 2023), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction as well as on the basis of the details provided by the student in the SEED 2023 application form and the chosen specialization.
