RPET 2014: Admission to B.E / B.Tech for other state candidates
Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, invites applications from eligible candidates from other states for admission to first year of engineering courses on the basis of JEE Main 2014 scores.
Around 15% seats in the private unaided engineering colleges and 15% seats in the self-financed government aided engineering college of Rajasthan are available for candidates from other states.
Eligibility criterion:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biotechnology or Biology as subjects from a Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination with 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
- Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01st October 1989, are eligible. However, for SC/ST candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.

Candidates have to apply online.
Important dates:
- Last date for the submission of online application form is July 02.
- Last date for the submission of hard copy of the application form is July 07.
