NEST Registration 2023: Know New Changes for Merit List Preparation

NEST 2023 Registration 2023: The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneshwar and the University of Mumbai's Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences will soon release the NEST 2023 admission notification on the official website nestexam.in.

Candidates can fill out the application form for NEST 2023 by visiting the official website. Applicants should fill out the application form before the deadline. Candidates should note that to appear in the NEST 2023 examination, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and fill out the application form with their correct academic and personal details.

Candidates can select up to 5 NEST exam centers in 2023 while filling up the application form. The National Entrance Screening Test is mainly divided into four sections: biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.

NEST 2023: New Changes

"The Section-Wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS) score of the best three subject scores from four subjects will be considered for the preparation of the merit list for NEST 2023 (for both NISER and CEBS). "It was different in NEST 2022, where the SMAS of all four subjects were considered for preparing the NISER merit list," reads the official notification available on the official website. Earlier, the NEST merit list was prepared using the SMAS scores of all four subjects.
The NEST 2023 application fees can be paid through a credit card, debit card, or net banking. The NEST 2023 application fee for a general or OBC male candidate is Rs.1,200 while students in other categories have to pay Rs.600.
