National Institute of Design offers admissions to B.Des/M.Des courses

The National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad invites applications for admissions to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programs offered in various disciplines at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bangalore campus for the academic session 2015-16.

Eligibility:
For B.Des programme

• Candidates who have passed or who will appear for qualifying examinations under the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalents like AISSCE/ IB/ ISC during the academic year 2014-15 can apply.

For M.Des programme

• Candidates having a bachelor's degree or equivalent including those who will be appearing for the qualifying examinations during the academic year (2014-15) in the areas mentioned against each discipline are eligible to apply.

How to apply:

• Applications are available online, on their website, www.admissions.nid.edu
• The duly filled-in application forms may be posted to NID/handed over physically with self attested supporting documents and demand draft of Rs. 1,500/- drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of ‘National Institute of Design' payable at Ahmedabad.

Note: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the design aptitude test conducted by the institute.

• Last date for receiving the completed application form: November 21, 2014

Date of design aptitude test:

• For M.Des programme: January 10, 2015
• For B.Des programme: January 11, 2015
