Jawaharlal Nehru University offers direct admission to Ph.D programme
Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, invites applications for direct admission to Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme, commencing in 2014-15.
Courses offered in schools of JNU are:
- School of International Studies
- School of Social Sciences
- School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies
- School of Arts and Aesthetics
- School of Computational and Integrative Sciences
- School of Life Sciences
- School of Biotechnology
- Centre for Molecular Medicine
Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed Master's degree in relevant discipline with 60% of marks from any of the recognised universities.

Application form can be downloaded from the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Application fee:
- For general candidates: Rs 420/-.
- For SC/ST/PH candidates: Rs 310/-.
- For BPL category candidates: Rs 110/-.
- For foreign national candidates: Rs 1750/-.
