JAM 2014: Admissions open for M.Sc programmes

The application forms for admission to M.Sc programmes in IITs and IISc are available in IIT Kanpur.

IITs and IISc are using the JAM 2014 score cards to provide admission to M.Sc programmes.

Only the candidates who qualify in JAM 2014 will be eligible to apply for admission to M.Sc.

Candidates have to apply online to the organising institute using the prescribed admission form.

To apply for any number of desired courses at any number of participating institutes is subject to eligibility of the candidate.

Irrespective of whether a candidate has qualified in one or two test papers, only one duly completed admission form should be submitted listing all the programmes at IISc & IITs (along with the order of preferences) where the candidate is seeking admission.

The printout of the duly completed admission form, along with the required enclosures must be sent by the applicant to the Organizing Chairman, JAM 2014, IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, UP 208016, along with a demand draft of Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only), drawn in favor of "Chairman JAM, IIT Kanpur", payable at Kanpur, as a non-refundable processing fee.

The admission form will not be considered if it is found incomplete in any respect or if it is not accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 600/- and the candidate will not be considered for admission, irrespective of satisfying the eligibility requirement (ER) for any programme for which the admission form has been submitted.

Also, a candidate will be considered for admission only to the programme, given in his/her admission form.

Last date for the submission of application form is 28th April 2014.
