IIT, Roorkee offers M.Tech, M.Arch and Ph.D courses admissions 2014
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, invites applications for admissions to Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) courses, commencing in 2014.
Eligibility:
For M.Tech:
Candidates must have passed B.Tech / B.E degree with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.
For M.Arch:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, design and architecture with 60% (55% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised universities.
For Ph.D:
Candidates must have a M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc degree in engineering with 65% of marks from any of the recognised universities.
Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on GATE Score, written test and interview conducted by the institute.
How to apply:
Candidates have to apply online.
Application fee:
- For M.Tech & M.Arch: Rs 400 for general candidates, Rs 200/- for SC/ST candidates.
- For Ph.D: Rs 200/- for general candidates, Rs 100/- for SC/ST candidates.
Important dates:
- Last date for registering in online is 21st April 2014.
- Last date for receipt of completed application form is 25th April 2014.
