IIT, Kanpur offers Ph.D programe Admission 2014
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, invites applications for admission to Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme, commencing in December 2014.
Eligibility:
- Ph.D: (Engineering): M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc (Engg) degree in the respective or allied area. The candidates with bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or master's degree in Sciences in an allied area with exceptional academic record and possessing a valid GATE score may also apply. For Ph.D. in BSBE, candidates with MBBS, B.Pharma or M. Pharma Degree may also apply. Candidates with Master's degree in Management may apply for Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Engineering (IME).
- Ph.D: (Sciences & HSS): M.Sc/M.A degree in respective or allied area with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR score.
Please note:
Financial aid (Assistantship/Scholarship) is available for Ph.D. students. Admission for Sponsored and Part-time candidates is also open. Sponsored/Part-time candidate are not required to qualify GATE.
How to apply:
The application form can be download from the official website of IIT Kanpur.
The application fee must be paid through a demand draft payable to ‘The Registrar, IIT Kanpur payable at Kanpur.
Application fee:
- Rs 400/- for general candidates.
- Rs 200/- for SC/ST candidates.
Important date:
Last date for submission of application form is November 17, 2014.
