IIT Delhi Offers Admissions for MBA Programmes

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has invited for admission to 2 years full time Master of Business Application (MBA) programme in general and Telecom offered in the Department of Management Studies (DMS).

Admissions are offered for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:

MBA in General:

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognised university
• Candidates must have minimum of 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate or 6.75 CGPA (6.25 CGPA in case of SC/ST candidates) on a 10 point scale or its equivalent in the qualifying degree.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

MBA in Telecom:

• Candidates should have completed bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering/ technology/ architecture/ pharmacy/ B.Sc. agriculture engineering (minimum 4 years after 10+2). OR
• Candidates should have completed bachelor's degree in any branch of physical/chemical/mathematical Sciences like physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, computer application, electronic science, environmental science, operations research, computational/information science, agriculture or bachelor's degree in commerce/ economics, CA/ICWA.
• Candidates should have minimum of 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate or 6.75 CGPA (6.25 CGPA in case of SC/ST candidates) on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

Candidates can visit the official website to apply online (Aspirants can start applying from the next day of CAT 2015 result declaration)

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on the qualifying exam CAT 2015, followed by GD and interview.

Important Dates:

• CAT result announcement: 2nd Week of January 2016.
• Online submission of application form begins on next day of CAT 2015 result declaration.
• Last date for receive application form along with demand draft: February 01, 2016.
• Group discussion & personal interview: March 10, 2016 - March 13, 2016.
• Declaration of shorlisted candidates for admissions: May 02, 2016.
• Commencement of classes: July 25, 2016.
