IIIT, Allahabad opens admissions 2014 for M.Tech programmes

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad has announced admissions to M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2014. The admission to M.Tech and M.Tech-Ph.D dual degree programmes will be made through CCMT-2014.

About the M.Tech programme:

IIIT-A has started a unique model of M.Tech education in the field of Information Technology and Electronics. With the objective of preparing quality professionals and researchers to work at high-end technologies in IT/Electronics, the Institute provides specialised courses in:

• Robotics
• Human Computer Interaction
• Bioinformatics
• Wireless Communication Engineering
• Microelectronics
• Software Engineering
• Intelligent Systems
• Cyber Law and Information Security

Many of the specialisations are the unique features of IIIT- Allahabad. The course model of M.Tech includes two semester 'Thesis work' which provides an opportunity for students to create and develop new concept, techniques, methods and applications given the world class infrastructure and faculty in the Institute.

About M.Tech-Ph.D dual degree programme:

IIIT Allahabad is looking for bright and dedicated young scholars interested in research to join us as M.Tech-Ph.D. dual degree scholars.

The online application process for CCMT 2014 will commence from 3rd week of April.
