IIIT-A invites applications for its Ph.D programme 2014

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad invites applications from suitable candidates for admission to its Ph.D programme for the year 2014. Ph.D is being offered in Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Management, Bio-Informatics and Applied Sciences.

Eligibility: The candidate have passed 10th, 10+2 with first class (>= 60% or 6.5 CPI - on a scale of 10 and 55% or 6.0 CPI - on a scale of 10 for SC/ST) in the respective Bachelor's and Master's Degree

- For Ph. D. admission in Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, candidates must have M.Tech./Equivalent Degree with GATE Score in the respective branches.

- For Ph. D. admission in Management, candidates must have MBA/PGDBM (IT background is desirable)

- For Ph.D. admission in Bio-informatics and Applied Sciences, candidate must have M. Tech. or M. Sc.(IT/CS/Bio-Tech./Bio informatics/Life Sciences/Statistics/Mathematics Physics) with valid GATE score

Applicants are required to apply online. Application fee is Rs. 500/- for General/OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates.
