IIFT MBA Registration 2023, Pattern of CBT Exam, Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process, How to apply

Tomorrow, November 14, 2022, is the last date to apply for the reputed IIFT MBA (International Business) program 2023-25. Interested and eligible applicants can head to the official website at iift.nta.nic.in to register for the entrance exam which will be held on December 18, 2022. Admit Cards for the same will be issued a few days prior to the exam and applicants can download the same by logging into the official website. Below is all the information you need about the course and how to apply for the same.

Start date to apply: September 30, 2022
Last date to apply: November 14, 2022
Correction window for IIFT 2023 Application Form: November 16 to 20, 2022
Admit Card release date: Few days prior to the CBT Exam
IIFT 2023 CBT Exam Date: December 18, 2022 (Sunday): The test will be held for 2 hours (10 am - 12 noon)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognized institution
with minimum 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwD categories

Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply

Application Fee

Rs 2,500/- for General/OBC applicants
Rs 1,250/- for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped applicants

Selection Process

Students will be enrolled based on their performances in the four rounds of selection namely the CBT Exam, Group Discussion/Extempore speech on a given topic, Writing Skill Assessment and finally the Interview.

Candidates who clear the online CBT Test will then be called for a Writing Skills Assessment, Group Discussion and Interview to be held in March/April 2023 in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

120 Objective-type MCQs will be given across 4 categories namely:
Quantitative Analysis
Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
General Awareness

How to apply for IIFT 2023 MBA Entrance Exam?

  • Click on the link of the official website: iift.nta.nic.in
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage, you will see the link to IIFT MBA 2023-25 Registration. Click on it.
  • New Users must register first and then log in; old ones can directly log in using their previously created credentials such as Application Number, Password, and Captcha (Security Pin).
  • To Register, you have to fill in your personal details, and address, and create a password.
  • Once registered, log in to the website.
  • Fill in the Application Form with all the details asked, and upload the documents as required.
  • Pay the Application Fee in any online mode you prefer: be it Netbanking, Cards or UPI
  • Download and take a printout of the final confirmation page for future requirements.

Things not to carry to the exam hall

Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instrument, Geometry or Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any
metallic items or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room.

Diabetic students, however, are allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottles to the Examination Hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwiches etc.
