IGIDR, Mumbai offers M.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D Admissions 2014
Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, invites applications for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) in Economics and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Development Studies programmes, commencing in 2014.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 55% of marks from any of the recognised university.
Selection procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on written test and interview conducted by the institute.
Stipend:
M.Phil / Ph.D students will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.17,000/- in the first two years. Those students, who fulfill the terms and conditions for Ph.D. Registration, would receive a monthly stipend of Rs.26,000/- after Ph. D. registration in the third year.
How to apply:
- Application form and prospectus can be purchased from IGIDR office.
- The application fee of Rs 500/- muct be paid by DD drawn in favor of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), should be payable at Mumbai.
- Application form can also be downloaded from the official website Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research.
- Candidates can fill the online application with fee of Rs 300/-.
Important Date:
Last date for the submission of application form is 17th March 2014.
