How to apply for PhD fellowship 2014 of Madurai Kamaraj University
Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), invites applications for its PhD fellowship 2014 programme. This programme is for students who are pursuing 5 year integrated M.Sc PhD programme in Genomics at the University.
Eligibility
- A bachelor's degree in any branch of Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics or equivalent), Physical and Chemical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry), Medicine, Veterinary and Agriculture from any recognised Indian or foreign university, with 55% marks or equivalent are eligible to apply.
- Students with B.Tech degrees in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Bioinformatics with Biology at +2 level are also eligible.
Important Dates:
Last date to apply: 16th April, 2014.
Fellowship details:
The fellowship for the students admitted to Ph.D. will be Rs. 12,000/- p.m. + 15% HRA + MA (Rs. 14,150/- p.m.) for first two years and Rs. 14,000/- p.m. + 15% HRA + MA (Rs. 16,450/-) for the third year.
