Gujarat Admissions: Students who want to get admission in the undergraduate programme in paramedical fields including nursing, physiotherapy, optometry, naturopathy, and audiology are in a state of confusion as the admission process has been delayed. According to the sources, it is said that the admissions are likely to begin after the state assembly polls are over.
According to the sources, the admission committee for Gujarat Professional Nursing and Allied Medical Education Courses has announced the provisional merit list of candidates for admission and has also announced that the students will have to complete their choice filling forms from October 18 to October 26, and that the committee is going to conduct the results of the mock round on October 28, 2022.
According to the admission committee figures 42,996 students had registered themselves for admission of whom 41,007 students were there in the provisional merit list. There are around 30,000 seats available for paramedical courses in the state.
According to the sources, the number of seats for nursing and physiotherapy courses is likely to increase as the government has not yet completed the process of sanctioning the new colleges in the state. According to sources, students who did not get into BDS can apply for paramedical courses. The first round of admission is complete for MBBS and BDS and many students who wanted to take admission in government colleges but got admissions in private colleges now want to take admission in paramedical colleges.
