DU Undergraduate Admissions 2022: The University of Delhi (DU) will announce the vacant seat list for the special spot admission round for undergraduate programmes in certain shortlisted colleges today at 5 p.m. Candidates are advised to check the vacancies by visiting the official website of the DU at admission.uod.ac.in.

DU Admission 2022: Special Spot Round Schedule

• Declaration of vacant seats for special spot round admissions - On 5pm of December 18, 2022
• Candidates to apply for the special spot admission round - From 10 AM on December 19 to 11:50 PM on December 20, 2022
• Declaration of allocation list - On 10 AM of December 22, 2022
• Candidates to 'accept' the allocated seat - From 10 AM on December 22 to 4:59 PM on December 23, 2022.

DU UG 2022: Important Instructions for Special Spot Round Admission

• The university has also informed the candidates to keep in mind the important instructions for the special spot round admission process.
• Candidates will not have the option to 'upgrade' or 'withdraw' their admission during the special spot admission round.
• As per the university rules, the seats allocated to the candidates in this round will be the final. Allotments in the special spot round will be made based on the availability of seats, the programme-specific merit of the candidates, the order of preference of programme and college, and category.
• To be considered in this round, the candidate is required to opt for 'special spot admission round' through their 'candidate dashboard'.

It will be mandatory for them to take admission to the seat allocated in the special DU spot admission round.
If the candidate fails to accept the allocated seat, it will forfeit the candidate's ability to take admission in the University of Delhi.
