DU and JMI invite applications for Master of Mathematics programme

Applications are invited for Master of Mathematics

University of Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia invite applications for Master of Mathematic programme for the academic year 2014. This is the first Meta University concept based course, started jointly by the University of Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia. This course is administratively run by Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) from University of Delhi and AJK Mass Communication Research Centre (AJKMCRC) from Jamia Millia Islamia.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have a graduate degree in any discipline, provided the applicant has done at least two full-fledged papers in mathematics at undergraduate level.
Students who are appearing in the final year of undergraduate degree programme (result awaited) can also apply and appear in the entrance test, subject to the condition that they shall fulfill the eligibility criteria before the commencement of classes.

Admission procedure:

The admission to the course will be through an entrance test (85% weightage). Once the candidate clears the test he will be called for an interview round (15% weightage). The number of candidates called for the interview will be approximately three times the maximum number of seats available for the course.
