Dr.D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth University Announces UG/PG Admissions

Dr.D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth Institute of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics has invited applications for admissions into various undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes in its various constituent colleges.

Programmes offered are:

UG programmes:

• B.Tech Biotechnology
• B.Tech Medical Biotechnology

PG programmes:

• M.Tech Integrated Biotechnology
• M.Sc Biotechnology
• M.Sc Bioinformatics

Eligibility:

For UG programmes:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Life Sciences from a recognised board of education.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in PCM subjects and 40% for reserved category candidates.

For PG programmes:

• Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in in Biology, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Human
• Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Agriculture Biotechnology, B. Pharm, M.B.B.S., or B.V.Sc., from a recognised university.

How to apply:

• Candidates can obtain application forms from the university's office on payment of Rs 500 in cash or DD.
• Application forms can also be obtained through post by submitting a DD of Rs 600 drawn in favour of "Registrar, Dr. D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth," payable at Pune.
• Application forms are also available online on the university's website.
• Candidates can download the form, the filled-in form must be sent to the university along with a DD covering form fee+test fee+postage.
  

Selection procedure:

For UG programmes:

• Candidates will be selected based on their performance in AIBTCET 2016 entrance exam held by the university.

For PG programmes:

• Candidates Candidates will be selected based on their performance in AIPGBET 2016 entrance exam held by the university.
