Dr. Ambedkar University Delhi Begins Admissions 2026 with New UG Courses and AI-Focused Mathematics Programme
The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has officially started the admission process for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Established by the Government of Delhi, the university is inviting applications from students seeking admission to its diverse range of programmes in humanities, social sciences, arts, and emerging interdisciplinary fields.
For the 2026-27 session, AUD will offer admissions to 23 undergraduate programmes with a total intake of 1,194 seats. Admissions to both three-year and four-year undergraduate programmes will be conducted based on CUET UG 2026 scores, in accordance with the guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020).

Five New Undergraduate Programmes Introduced

One of the most notable additions is the BA in Museology, Culture and Heritage Management, which is among the first university-level programmes of its kind in India. AI-Focused BSc Mathematics Programme
A major highlight of the 2026 admissions cycle is the restructuring of the university's mathematics programme. AUD has replaced its existing BA (Honours) Mathematics course with a BSc in Mathematics featuring a minor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
The revamped curriculum has been designed to combine strong mathematical foundations with modern technological applications. Students will gain exposure to subjects such as data analysis, artificial intelligence, computational methods, and data science, enabling them to pursue careers in technology, analytics, finance, research, and higher education.
