Delhi University will release the first merit list for undergraduate admissions on October 18th, 2022. Registration for admissions to the university's undergraduate programmes was supposed to close on Monday. However, this has been extended by two days 12th of October 2022.

The Delhi University will release the first list of seat allocations for undergraduate admissions on October 18th through its new Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). It will have a total of three rounds of allocations.

The registration process for undergraduate programmes was supposed to close on Monday, but it has been extended for two more days. The registration will end on Wednesday, October 12.

The University will provide a one-time correction window for OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST, Minority, PwBD, and CW candidates who want to re-upload their documents from October 11 to October 13. The University will also provide a two-day window from October 14 to October 16 so that candidates can re-order their preferences after referring to a "simulated list."

The first round of admission will take place in more than a week. It depends on the college-programme preferences listed by the candidates and their position on the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) based merit lists. Candidates will be allocated a seat in the highest possible college-programme combination listed by them. The list will be declared on October 18, at around 5 pm.

After that, candidates have to "accept" their allocated seats. If a candidate does not accept the offer and does not give any response to the offer, then the candidate will be automatically removed from the allocation process, and he/she will not be able to participate in subsequent rounds of allocation.

After that, the college will either reject or approve the admission based on the inspection of the candidate's documents and eligibility. Candidates whose admission will be approved will have to move forward to pay their admission fees to confirm the admission. The deadline for paying the fees will be October 24 at 4:59 pm.
