CMI Entrance Exam 2023: Registration Started; Check Details Here

CMI 2023: The Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) has opened the online registration window for the CMI entrance exam for admission to the BSc, MSc and PhD programmes for the 2023-24 academic session. Candidates can apply for the entrance exam by visiting the official website- cmi.ac.in.

The deadline to fill out the form and pay the application fee is April 9, 2023. The CMI entrance examination is scheduled to be held on May 7 and candidates can download the admit card for the same on April 30. CMI will announce the results of the exam within a month from the date of commencement of the examination. The academic session will start on August 7, 2023.

CMI entrance exam 2023: Eligibility Criteria

• BSc- Candidates need to complete 12th standard or equivalent.
• MSc in Mathematics- Candidates need to have an undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech or other) with a strong background in Mathematics.
• MSc in Computer Science- Candidates need to have an undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech or other) with a strong background in Computer Science.
• MSc in Data Science- Candidates need to have an undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech or other) with a background in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science.
• PhD in Mathematics- Candidates need to have a BE, BTech, BSc(Mathematics) or MSc(Mathematics) degree.
• PhD in Computer Science- Candidates need to have a BE, BTech, MSc(CS) or MCA degree.
• PhD in Physics- Candidates need to have an MSc (Physics) degree.

CMI application form 2023: Steps to fill online

• Go to the official website of CMI- cmi.ac.in.
• Click on the BSc, MSc and PhD programmes "Online Application" link.
• Fill in the necessary details such as email ID and mobile number and complete the registration process.
• Then click on apply for admission after successful login and fill up the CMI entrance exam application form.
• Pay the entrance exam fee.
• Download and take printout of the application form.
