Chennai Mathematical Institute offers admissions to B.Sc/M.Sc 2015
Chennai Mathematical Institute invites applications for admissions to 3 years integrated B.Sc honors and M.Sc for the academic session 2015. The programmes are offered for the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Computer Science
Eligibility:
- For B.Sc Honors
Candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent.
- For M.Sc Mathematics
Candidates should have B.Sc (Math)/ B.Math/ B.Stat/ B.E/ B.Tech.
- For M.Sc Computer Science
Candidates should have B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (C.S)/ BCA or B.Sc (Math) with a strong background in CS.
How to apply:
- Applications for August 2015 will be open until, March 9, 2015.
Selection procedure:
- Applicants will have to take an entrance examination, typically held in May at multiple centres across the country.
- Admissions committee may call shortlisted candidates for an interview depending on their prior academic record.
Important dates:
- Date of submission of application forms: March 9, 2015 to April 17, 2015
- Date of entrance exam: May 18, 2015
