Calcutta University Opens Admissions For Ph.D. Program

University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata has invited applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Education offered at the Department of Education for the academic session 2017. The eligible candidates can apply latest by March 6, 2017.

Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. program in Zoology from candidates who have a Master's degree in Zoology or any other qualification considered equivalent thereto.

The candidates should have acquired a Master's degree in Zoology from a recognized university or institute.

Application fee:

An application fee of Rs 100 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration procedure. The candidates can make the payment through a challan obtainable from the Sales Counter at CU.

Selection procedure:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview.Candidates who have qualified M. Phil. / NET/ GATE in any branch of Life Sciences are exempted from the written examination and will need to appear at the interview only.
