Calcutta University offers Ph.D in Environmental Science admission
Department of Environmental Science, University of Calcutta, Kolkata invites applications for admission to Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Environmental Science, commencing in 2014.
Selection procedure:
Those candidates who have already passed NET/SET/GATE/M.Phil or equivalent examination need not appear at the written test and can apply directly for the interview.
Eligibility:
- Candidates from Environmental Science and allied subjects may apply subject to the clearance of equivalence from the University. They should complete RET formalities by the examination board of the concerned department.
- The candidate should have Chemistry as a combination subject at the bachelor's level. Percentage at the Master's level must be at least 55% marks.
How to apply:
- The application form can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University.
- Application form can also be obtained from the university cash counter by paying Rs 100/- in cash.
Important Dates:
- Last date for the submission of application form is 26th March 2014.
- RET will be held on 09th April 2014.
