Calcutta University offers MCA and M.Tech courses admission 2014

Calcutta University, Kolkata invites applications for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) courses, commencing in 2014.

The M.Tech courses is offered in:

• Textile Technology
• Information Technology

The M. Tech course in Textile Technology (Technical Textiles) (TT Code No.118) to be conducted in the Dept. of Jute & Fibre Technology, IJT, 35 B.C. Road, Kolkata-700019.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 60% of marks from any of the recognised universities.

How to apply:
Candidates have to download the application from the website of Calcutta University.

Application fee:

• For M.Tech: Rs 200/- for general candidates and Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PWD
• For MCA: Rs 100/- for general candidates and Rs 50/- for SC/ST/PWD

Important dates:

• Last date for submission of the application form for M.Tech in Textile Technology is October 31, 2014.
• Last date for the submission of application form for M.Tech in IT and MCA is on November 05, 2014.
• Entrance test for MCA will be held on November 07, 2014.
