The process for online registrations of Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) has begun. AUCET 2016 will be held by the Andhra Univeristy for admissions into severl programmes offered at the following campuses:
- Andhra University campus, Visakhapatnam,
- Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam,
- P.G. Centres and affiliated colleges of BRAU & AU offering PG programmes.
Porgrammes offered are:
- Arts,
- Science,
- Engineering,
- Law.
The registrations process for AUCET 2016 has begun and will end on April 18, 2016.

Eligibility:
- Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university.
- Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply
- Candidates who have a undergradute degree through distance learning without 10+2+3 pattern of academics can also apply, these candidates can apply subject to submission of residence certificate.
How to apply:
- Candidates can apply online only on the official website of Andhra University
- Application of Rs 500 must be apid through SBI I-Collect/ Andhra Bank(billdesk)/ payment Gateway (credit/debit card).
Exam Paper Pattern:
- AUCET 2016 examination will be held for a duration of 90 minutes.
- The question paper consists of about 100 multiple choice questions.
- The question paper of 90 questions is divided into 3 parts. Part A contains 40 questions (40 marks), Part B contains 30 questions (30 marks) and Part C contains 20 questions (20 marks).
- There is negative marking, for every incorrect answer there will be 1/4 mark deducted
Important dates:
- Last date for submissions of online application: April 6, 2016
- Last date for submission of online applications with late fee of Rs 1000: April 25, 2016
