Amrita University Admission 2016: Apply for B.Sc/M.Sc programmes

Applications have been invited by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore for admission
to undergraduate and postgraduate course for the academic session 2016-17.

Admission are offered in the following programmes:

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biotechnology and Microbiology
Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Sc Programme (Biotechnology and Microbiology): Candidates must have passed higher secondary examination or its equivalent with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology ( taken together)
• M.Sc Bioinformatics Programmes: Candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline of science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Candidates who have studied Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred
• M.Sc Microbiology and Biotechnology Programmes: Candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Engineering [Biotechnology], Medicine or its equivalent

M.Sc Programmes:

• Qualifying undergraduate examination
• Evaluation at Amrita School of Biotechnology
• Personal Interview at Amrita School of Biotechnology
