The nursery admission in the national capital, Delhi, for the academic session 2019-20 is all set to begin from December 15. A lot of new rules and regulations were introduced for the coming academic session. The most important among them is the upper age limit. The government has set an upper age limit for admission to nursery, kindergarten and class I.

According to the sources, the admission process for the entry-level classes begins in Delhi's private schools with instructions from the Directorate of Education (DoE). Over 1600 private schools are there in Delhi under DoE. The last date to submit the application forms for nursery admission is January 7, 2019. Delhi Nursery Admission 2019: First Allotment List

Over 1500 schools in Delhi has published the first list of selected candidates for nursery admission. The list has been released for the first list of selected candidates. It is also expected that the second list of the general category will be released on February 21. The second list will be available along with waiting list students.

Any queries related to Delhi nursery admission 2019, parents can approach Directorate of Education. The queries on the first list of selected candidates for nursery admission will be answered from February 5 to 12.

Kindergarten: 5 years
Class I: 6 years

Online admission process: December 15
Last date to submit application forms for nursery: January 7, 2019
Uploading the details of children for open seats: January 21, 2019
Uploading of marks for admission under open seats: January 28, 2019
The first list of selected candidates: February 4, 2019
The second list of selected candidates: February 21, 2019
Admission process will be closed: March 31, 2019

The sources also added that 25% of seats are reserved in pre-school, pre-primary and Class 1 for economically weaker sections/disadvantaged groups (EWS/DG). The DoE has also instructed all the schools to upload their criteria (with points for each criterion) for admission before December 14 on the official website.
