Admissions Open For Distance Education in Sikkim Manipal University

Sikkim Manipal University, Directorate of Distance Education has opened admissions for the upcoming academic year through online admission. Admission is open for courses such as B.Tech, MBBS, MD/MS, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, MCA, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Biotechnology and others.

Course Objectives

• Impart knowledge of Computer and programming logic environment in IT
• Develop strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Skill to work with advanced IT applications in different business sector
• Equipping students with the technical knowledge required for an IT professional to handle multi-tasking and multi-programming situations and to assess and develop computer based solutions

Eligibility

10 + 2 or equivalent / 3 Year Diploma from a State Board of Technical Education

Fees

Sikkim Manipal University, semester fee : Rs. 13,950/- (inclusive of Exam Fee Rs. 2,300/-) or as revised from time to time. Fees may also be paid one-time ( Total Fee : Rs. 83,700).

How to Apply

• Get in touch with the university appointed counsellor who will contact the student to collect the basic details. The application form link is mailed to the student.
• A fee of Rs 600 must be paid in prior for the application form
• Candidate will be provided with application number and password on successful payment. Candidate can then sign in using the application number and provided password and file your online application.
• Student should fill the application form, upload documents, make the payment online and submit the form to the University
• University will verify the application and the admission status will be notified to the student.

Note

The online application feature is available 24/7. Entrance examination fee as applicable from course to course will be prompted at the time of application and you will have the option to pay online using credit/debit card. Application will be deemed accepted only after receipt of successful online payment of such entrance exams.

Applicants of courses with direct admission or applying using qualifying entrance exams not conducted by SMU will not need to pay any additional fee.

Documents Required

At the time of application, candidates need to provide scanned photo and signature to upload (.jpg format only with maximum file size 200KB, 200 px x 200 px)
