Admission of B.Sc graduates to Engineering

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore, invites applications from eligible candidates for admissions to second year / third semester engineering courses for B.Sc graduates, commencing in 2014.

 

As per the order from the government of Karnataka, KEA will hold the admission process of engineering courses across the state.

This is primarily for candidates who are seeking admission under lateral entry scheme. The seats that may remain unfilled after allotting to eligible diploma candidates will be offered to B.Sc graduates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed B.Sc degree from a recognised university as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks and passed 12th standard with mathematics as a subject.
  • Students belonging to B.Sc stream, should have cleared engineering graphics / engineering drawing and engineering mechanics papers of the first-year engineering program, along with their second-year subjects.
