According to the SRMJEEE website, about 2 lakh students are expected to appear for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination 2015 (SRMJEEE 2015).
This academic session the number of applications for the examination has been increased 40% compared to the previous year.
The candidates have option to appear for the examination from any of the 102 centres and 50 locations where the exams will be held in online mode.
The SRMJEEE entrance exam is conducted annually for admissions into engineering courses of various specialisations.
According the website, the applications this year 22.7% are from the northeast (NE) regions, 15.2% from the western as well as eastern regions. About 16% of the applicants are from Andhra Pradesh, 10% from Tamil Nadu and 9% are from Telangana.
The computer based test of SRMJEEE 2015 will be held on April 19 to April 22, 2015. The paper based test will be conducted on April 26, 2015.
