Now carrying of aadhar card is mandatory for candidates who are planning to appear for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) 2017 at the time of counselling. MHCET is a state level examination conducted by DTE for admissions for first year undergraduate courses of Health Sciences and Technical Education.
The counselling which will be conducted through Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
The exam is scheduled for May 11, 2017. According to the official website, possession of aadhar card is compulsory. The registration for the exam will tentatively begin by the end of December, 2016 or first week of January 2017.
Apart from the aadhaar card, other documents which are required to be carried by the candidates as an identification proof are listed below:
- Certificate
- Caste/Tribe validity certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Income certificate
Note: If a candidate fails to produce any of these documents in original and photocopy format, his/her application will be cancelled.
MHCET Paper pattern
The test is conducted in objective mode for the following four sections:
Mathematics: 100 marks
- Physics: 50 marks
- Chemistry: 50 marks
- Biology: 50 marks
- Total marks: 200
