A UP village student declines a job offer of Rs 32 lakh, but Google offers Rs 56 lakh!

While the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) produce some of India's highest-paid graduates, Aradhya Tripathi, a resident of Gothwa village in Uttar Pradesh and a graduate of the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), is rewriting the story.

She received a hefty package worth Rs 52 lakh from Google, the highest ever granted to an MMMUT alumna.

FROM A VILLAGE TO GOOGLE

Aradhya, the daughter of an advocate father and a housewife mother, excelled academically from a young age. She joined MMMUT after completing her secondary education at St. Joseph's School to pursue a BTech in computer engineering.

She has subsequently made her impact not only on the institution, but on the whole tech world, gaining a highly sought-after position as a software development engineer at Google.

A JOURNEY CRAFTED WITH DETERMINATION AND SKILLS

Aradhya worked as a software engineer at Scaler in 2023. Her internship at the company was a success, so much so that upon conclusion of her internship, Scaler gave her a package of

Rs 32 lakh-an amazing sum, but one that would soon be overshadowed by Google's massive offer.

Aradhya has gained vast experience in handling scalable products and live production traffic while working in competitive situations through her employment and internships.

On LinkedIn, she stated, "I have a firm grasp and experience with several tech stacks such as React.JS, React Redux, NextJs, Typescript, NodeJs, MongoDb, ExpressJS, and SCSS. I am very interested in Data Structures and Algorithms and have answered over 1000 questions on several coding sites with a high rating."

Aradhya Tripathi's narrative exemplifies tenacity, hard effort, and sheer talent that is unconstrained by institutional prominence or societal expectations. She has demonstrated that it is not only about the college you attend, but also about what you bring to the table.
