90% students pass Maharashtra Class 12th board exam 2014

Maharashtra Class 12th results declared

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Mumbai has announced the class 12th board examination 2014 results today at 1 PM.

 

A total of 90.03% of students passed the class 12th examination 2014. Mumbai region has registered 88.30% of students who have cleared the examination.

In 2013, the pass percentage was 68.7%. The Konkan region has registered the highest success rate of 94.85%.

Students are advised to visit the official website to get the results.

Girls outshine the boys in the results of the Mumbai region with pass percentage of 92.3%, when compared with boys with 84.73%.

In Mumbai region, around 90.71% of students from science discipline, 84.65% from Arts discipline, 87.91% from Commerce and 94.53% from Vocational discipline passed the examination.

A total of 13,37,114 candidates had written the Maharashtra class 12th examination. Out of which 4,50,176 were from Science discipline, 4,66,723 were from Arts discipline, 3,62,705 were from Commerce discipline and 54,347 were from Vocational discipline.

Students who wish to apply for revaluation can apply between 10th to 20th June 2014, at the division board office. Students can avail a photocopy of their answer sheets between 02nd and 21st June 2014 by paying the prescribed fees.
