72.25% students pass Punjab Class 10th / Matriculation board exam 2014

Punjab Class 10th results declared

The Punjab School of Education Board (PSEB) has announced the results of the class 10th / matriculation board exam 2014.

Candidates are advised to visit the PSEB official website to get the results.

A total of 2,71,196 students out of 3,75,358 passed the examination in 2014.

Overall pass percentage of the PSEB class 10th exam is 72.25.

Girls outshine boys in the results with 79.60% when compared to 66.72% of boys, who passed the examination.

Ludhiana holds first rank in having the maximum number of merit students who passed the exam.

A student Riya Garg from R S Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar has secured first rank in class 10th with 97.69%. She scored 635 out of 650 marks.

Around 1,61,246 girls and 1,28,351 boys cleared the examination.
