68.64% students pass Himachal Pradesh board exam

Shimla, May 4: As many as 67,054 candidates out of a total of 98,410 have passed the class XII examination of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, with a pass percentage of 68.64 per cent.

The girls fared better as 33,645 out of 47,053 girls passed the examination, while 33,409 out of 50,639 boys cleared the examination.

As many as 10,568 students were declared as 'fail', while 17,316 were placed under compartment, a School Board release said.
