5 Lakh candidates to write online JEE Main 2014

More than 5 lakh candidates across the country are expected to write JEE Main 2014 Computer Based Examination.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is all set to conduct JEE Main 2014 computer-based online examination on 09th, 11th, 12th and 19th April 2014.

A total of 13.57 lakh candidates have registered for the JEE Main 2014 for both offline and online examination.

JEE Main 2014 offline examination would be conducted on 06th April.

According to sources, JEE online examination would be held in 235 cities across India.

This year 3.63 lakh or around 27% of the total registrants are women, which is higher compared to previous years.

JEE Main 2014 is the qualifying entrance examination which is conducted for admission to engineering / technology and architecture courses in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and SFTIs.
