New Delhi, July 16, 2015: Four colleges of Delhi University are likely to offer Bachelor of Vocation (BVoc) course in nine disciplines including tv programming, printing technology, web designing, editing and animation, from the next academic session.

The university's Academic Council (AC) has given a go-ahead to the Maharaja Agrasen College, Kalindi College, Jesus and Mary College, and College of Vocational Studies, in a meeting held yesterday.

"The proposal for offering these courses at the said colleges was passed by the AC".

"The same will now be sent to the University Grants Commission (UGC) for its approval and then the modalities would be worked out for their introduction," DU professor and AC member, Nachiketa Singh said.
