37,000 candidates clear CBSE CTET September 2014

On October 09, 2014, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has announced the results of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2014.

According to the results, 11.95% of candidates passed the CTET Paper 1 examination and 2.8% of candidates passed CTET Paper 2. Overall 37,000 candidates out of 7 lakh had cleared the CTET September 2014 exam.

It is mandatory for any of the teacher, seeking job in government-funded CBSE schools across the country. Even, private schools also accept CTET score for appointment of teachers.

CBSE conducts CTETE exam twice a year. B.Ed gradautes can appear for the exam as many time as they want.

In CTET February 2014 session, around 13,428 (2%) out of 7.50 lakh candidates had cleared the examination.
