3019 Vacancies for Sub-Inspectors Announced by Jharkhand SSC:Apply Now!

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commision (SSC) has announced the online application for eligible candidates for the Jharkhand Joint Police Sub-Inspector Competitive Exam 2017. The online application is accessible on the commission's official website.

Jharkand SSC has invited applicants for the Jharkand Joint Sub Inspector Competitive Exam 2017. The examination is aimed at filling up of more than 3000 vacancies. The candidates who apply for the posts must have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institute or university.

The selected candidates will be offered their payment according to the Grade Pay II (6th Pay Commission)

Eligibility

The candidates must have passed a bachelors degree from a recognized institute
The candidate should fall in the age group of 21 to 30 years

Important Dates

• July 15, 2017 is the commencement of Submission of Application
• August 13, 2017 is the last date for submission of application
• August 16, 2017 is the last date for offline payment
• The computer based preliminary examination will be conducted in the last week of August 2017 to second week of September 2017
• The main examinations will take place in the first week of November 2017

• Click on the link which reads 'Online Application for Jharkhand Combined Police Sub Inspector Competitive Examination-2017'
• Register yourself as anew user
• Fill in your details
• Follow the procedure as explained on the website there after

The application fee for the exam is Rs. 460. Applicants belonging to the state of Jharkand and Rs 115 for applicants who belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe

Selection Process

The selection procedure will be taken in four stages:

• Preliminary test
• Main Examination
• Physical Education
• Medical examinations

The details of the physical examination can be accessed in the official notification that is availble on the official website of the commision- www.jssc.in
The preliminary examination and Main Examination will be consisting of multiple choice questions. Each question will be carrying 3 marks. For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi languages.
